Scott Ober, MD, MBA
Dr. Ober is the Associate Chief of Staff, Ambulatory Care, Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center and the Physician Lead for Primary Care in VISN Network 10. He practices at the Wade Park Facility and is Associate Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, School of Medicine.
He received his medical degree from Northeast Ohio College of Medicine and his MBA from University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society. He is a board certified Internist with residency completion at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Dr. Ober has been directly involved with the SCAN-ECHO Center (Specialty Care Access Network) in Cleveland since its inception 10 years ago. This innovative program uses video-teleconferencing technology and a broad range of education including pain care that enhances the primary care provider expertise across the VA community based outpatient clinics in Northeastern Ohio. The efforts have been supported by a substantial grant from the Office of Rural Health and Specialty Care Services.
