Ronald Tolchin, DO
Dr. Ronald Tolchin has served as the Medical Director for the Baptist Center for Spine Care at Baptist Health South Florida for the past 6 years. In this position, he coordinates spine care along with a team of physiatrists and neurosurgeons from 6 hospitals and 28 urgent care centers across 3 counties in South Florida. Prior to this he was the Chief of PM&R at the Miami VA Healthcare System and Associate Residency Director for PM&R at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. Presently, he is a Voluntary Associate Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine and Voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine at FIU, Herbert Wertheim School of Medicine where he is actively engaged in teaching medical students and residents. He has co-authored several book chapters, written several articles, and is actively participating in spine research. He has held many leadership positions over 24 years of clinical and academic practice.
